Volunteering to screen intake for Rise Up: Federal Workers Legal Defense Network made a gap plain: far more workers need representation than there are attorneys able or willing to take messy matters at rates those workers can actually pay.
Across hundreds of those conversations, a second observation held. Many of those workers did not need an attorney first. They needed order first.
